EVENT DESCRIPTION
Luke is raising funds for Sheffield Hospitals Charity by organising a hiking event. Participants will summit Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, with expert guidance from Lake District-based outdoor pursuits company, Viking Activities. This one-day hike will see up to 60 adventurers guided safely up and down the iconic peak, all while supporting a fantastic cause.

After the sign up process, participants will receive a comprehensive *Event File and be added to a messaging group where they can connect with fellow hikers and activity leaders. This group will be a space to share information, offer inspiration, suggest training tips, ask and answer questions, and provide general support. Additionally, Luke, Sheffield Hospitals Charity, Fit Dads Podcast and Viking Activities will collectively host two live video calls, during which each host will share all relevant details and address any questions or uncertainties participants may have.

After the sign up process, participants will receive a comprehensive Event File. The Event File will include:
- All Major Event Details 
- Fitness Plan (Courtesy of Sponsors Fit Dads Podcast) 
- Equipment & Clothing Checklist (Viking Activities) 
- Fundraising guide (Sheffield Hospitals Charity) 
- Participant Form (Viking Activities)

CONSIDERATIONS
Fitness: Participants should be able to comfortably walk an incline for at least 5 hours come September 14th. 
Equipment & Clothing: 
Viking Activities will provide an equipment and clothing checklist so that you are prepared for the hike.  
Sponsorship:
Participants will be committed to raising a minimum of £200 for Sheffield Hospital Charity via the Scafell Pike Charity Hike JustGiving page.  

RESTRICTIONS
Participants must be 18 or over and may be asked by Viking Activities to evidence their age. 

TRAVEL
Participants will be responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the event.

OBJECTIVE
Luke and the charity have set an initial fund raising target of £20,000.
